It took having the IKM IT folks clean up my account in the back end to get it all sorted out. I worked back/forth with support for better than a week trying to get ST3 MAX libs unlocked in ST4. ST3 & MP2 are indeed the only ones that show both available. I have the VST plugs installed on the sys (C) drive, with all sound/libs/presets stored on a separate drive. Yeah i think 4.0.3 is coming not too far away and i am hoping it will help but for now the only way to use ST4 for me is to run FL Studio in rewire within S1 and run it from there.
why else would it omit the ST4 VST2 when there is a VST3 version available? again this makes no sense. someone on the KVR forum i think said that Studio One has preference to VST3 and from me moving the ST4 VST3 version out of scan and it finally sees the VST2 then i do think this is the case. S1 crashes to desktop just like the ST4 VST3 version. I have moved my ST4 VST3 plugin to desktop to get it out of the scan and S1 does in fact finally see the ST4 VST2 version (as long as there is no VST3 to be scanned) but even then when i try to instantiate ST4 VST2. As before there is a standalone version and plug-ins versions for your DAW (AAX, VST2, VST3, and Audio Units 64 bit only). It provides multi-layer sound support, multiple articulations, and thousands of samples. but that is Waves' mess lolĪpparently IK did not cover non-default installs at least on Windows which they fixed in version 4.0.2 hence why i now have ST4 plugins in my other DAWs but no luck with S1 What It Is Like SampleTank 3 version 4 (ST4 from now on) is a 16-part multitimbral sample-based virtual instrument. nothing resides on root (C:) if i can help it and everything has worked fine until ST4 save the Waves v9 v10 combo mess. May i ask where you installed your product? on the root OS drive (default) or somewhere else? my system only has a 256Gb SSD M2 for (C:) root and only my OS (Win10) and those programs forced to root (C:) are there everything else on my system is installed on another HD (E:) that's DAWs, plugins, games, etc. Only Philly 2 and Sampletank 3 show both VST2 and VST3
